Singaporean seal of approval
Grandmother Florence Ley will be travelling almost 7,000 miles next week from Singapore to take part in a painting course organised by Norfolk artist Jan Blanch.Jan, who has a studio at Wroxham Barns in Hoveton, will be taking Florence and 14 other aspiring artists for a week’s residential painting course in Corfu.
This is the second time that Florence will be joining one of Jan’s courses, having completed a week’s course at Wroxham Barns earlier in the year. She originally saw Jan’s work on the internet and has been communicating with her regularly by email, seeking advice and tuition on her painting techniques.
"Florence is a keen painter and a joy to teach so I am really pleased that she will be joining us again." says Jan. "It is a real honour that she is prepared to travel so far for one of my courses and shows true commitment to her painting."
Jan, Florence and the other course participants will be flying from Norwich International Airport on Friday September 22nd at 4.10pm. They will be staying in the north of Corfu enjoying daily tuition and painting excursions across the island.
