Woodturning and Engraving

After 20 years in the boat building industry, Pat Trett traded in his day job to become the new woodturner at Wroxham Barns.

Pat began by providing crafts for family and friends and then recently started selling his products. So successful was he, that he seized the opportunity to come to the Barns to expand his range of exquisite products which include beautifully turned solitaire boards, teapot stands with ceramic inlays, calendars, barometers, high gloss lamp bases and ornamental bowls, all hand-crafted from both native and exotic species.

One of the most stunning pieces to adorn his shop is an old bur oak that was rescued from its fate in an open fire and now serves as a stunning display stand.

Pat Trett is the resident RPT Woodturner/Woodworker, producing both traditional and contemporary crafts, working with local and exotic timbers. Pat will under take commissions that can be as small as a light pull or as large as a 10ft Solid Oak House Sign. The retail side to the business consists of unique hand made wooden furniture, carvings and unusual gifts from around the world. 

Working alongside Pat, using the latest computerised technology Mel and Gemma can turn an ordinary gift into a special personalised treasure. We have a wide range of giftware for all occasions, including engravable Crystal Cut Glass, Pewter, Silver and Wooden items for you to choose from or we can engrave your own. Along side this we take commissions for Memorial Plaques, House Signs, Brass, Acrylic or Vinyl Signs, Corporate Gifts and Awards, Sports Trophies, Medals and Shields. Lets not forget your Pets tags too! We also offer replacement Watch Strap/Batteries, Key Cutting and Same Day Engraving, where possible.
